At an Encounter Ministries Healing Service at St. Thomas Aquinas in Madison, Wisconsin -- after testimonies from people healed during the day (at the Encounter School of Healing), the congregation goes all in on a commitment to share the good news (evangelization) of the wonders Jesus would work at the Healing service.  Shortly thereafter, a totally deaf ear was opened, blurry eye-sight was cleared up, tinitus was healed, shouders, feet, stomachs, necks & knees were healed as Jesus poured out his healing love on the people and JOY abounded....let the good news flow, JESUS IS LORD!

In chapter 12 of Luke's Gospel, we hear Jesus speak of the fire he longed to cast on the earth and the baptism he was in anguish to accomplish (the cross).  This fire of divine love has been poured into us through the Holy Spirit.  Jesus also spoke of division that his disciples would encounter in the world.  We consider how to navigate it with grace...
